AILLIET

Pierre-Gabriel AILLIET alias AILLET (1762-????), chief of battalion to the 30e regiment of infantry of line, knight of the empire by letters patent of December 16th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms :

Or, a chevron Azure accompanied in chief of two stars Azure and in base of a grenade Sable, allumee Gules ; a bordure Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honor set at 2nd point in chief. Liveries : colors of the shield.


ALBERT

Georges ALBERT (1776-1855), captain to grenadiers on foot of the guard, knight of the empire by letters patent of May 23rd, 1810. Baron of the empire by letters of September 14th, 1813. Regulation of coats of arms :

Per pale : 1st, Azure,a cavalier armed and ancient Or, piercing of its spear a wyvern reversed Argent, one and the other facing the sinister ; 2nd, Vert, a pyramid Argent, surmounted of an allumee grenade Or ; a terrace in base Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honor. Liveries : blue, yellow, white and red.



Title of hereditary baron conferred to Georges ALBERT, confirmed in favor of the son, Louis-Désiré-Edouard ALBERT, mayor of Carnod, by imperial decree of April 28th, 1860. Transmission of the majorat emoluments (without title of hereditary baron) conferred to Georges ALBERT, confirmed in favor of elder of its grandsons in primogeniture, Edouard-Léon ALBERT, by ministerial order of January 31st, 1878.

ALBERT

Joseph-Jean-Baptiste ALBERT (1771-1822), brigadier general, baron of the empire by letters patent of April 14th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms :

Per fess : 1st, per pale, in dexter Sable, a grenade Or, inflammed of the same and cantoned of 4 stars also Or and in sinister Gules, mark of the military barons ; 2nd, Azure, 2 scythes in saltire Or, on which a garb debruises of the same. Liveries : blue, white and yellow.


ALBERT

Joseph ALBERT, knight of the empire by imperial decree of August 10th, 1813, baron of the empire by decree of September 14th, 1813, colonel-major of the infantrymen of the young Guard (1814), Officer of the Legion of Honor.

ALBISSON

Jean ALBISSON (1732-1810), State counsellor, knight of the empire by letters patent of August 11th, 1808. Regulation of coats of arms :

Argent, a chevron checky of three rows Or and Azure, on the sinister is set a third Gules with the mark of the knights without Legion of Honor. Liveries : white, blue, yellow and red.

ALEIN

François-Mathieu ALEIN (1760-????), receiver of the imperial treasure, member of the electoral college of the Ardennes, knight of the empire by letters patent of October 23rd, 1811. Regulation of coats of arms :

Azure, a cock Argent accompanied of three bezants Or, 2 and 1, supported by a terrace in base Gules with the mark of knights of the Legion of Honor. Liveries : colors of the shield.


ALFIERI DE SOSTEGNO

Charles-Emmanuel-Ferdinand ALFIERI DE SOSTEGNO (1764-1831), Master of the ceremonies of Borghèse prince, baron of the empire by letters patent of April 14th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms :

Quarterly : 1st, Or to the vol of 2 wings conjoined in base Sable supported by two eagle's claws of the same, armed Gules ; 2nd, of the barons officers of the house of the princes ; 3rd, Azure, a tower Or open, windows and masoned Sable, a bordure compony Argent and Gules ; 4th, bendy Or and Azure of six pieces. Liveries : yellow, blue, red and black.


ALIX

Jean-Baptiste ALIX alias ALLIX (1768-1848), chief of squadron in retirement, knight of the empire by letters patent of June 14th, 1810. Regulation of coats of arms :

Per pale : 1st, Argent to the pennon Azure charged of a vol of 2 wings conjoined in base Or ; 2nd, Azure, a hand Or issuing of the sinister and armed of a saber Argent ; a terrace in base Gules charged of the mark of knights of the Legion of Honor. Liveries : colors of the shield


Thereafter, the coats of arms became :

Per pale : 1st, Argent, pennon Azure, charged of a vol of 2 wings conjoined in base Or ; 2nd, Azure, a hand Or, holding a saber Argent.


ALLEMAND

Zacharie-Jacques-Théodore ALLEMAND (1762-1826), vice-admiral, count of the empire by letters patent of April 26th, 1811. Regulation of coats of arms :

Azure, 3 ships Or, with sails Argent, 1 and 2 ; a quarter of the military counts debruising to the 9th shield. Liveries : yellow, white and blue.

   

Thereafter, the coats of arms became :

Azure, 3 ships Or, with sails Argent, 1 and 2.
